Mick Manning post-graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1987 where his teachers included Sheila Robinson and Quentin Blake. He was Course Leader of the Illustration department at the Glasgow School of Art between 1990-1998 and now lives in both the Scottish borders and Sweden with his wife and partner, the artist Brita Granström (with whom he has written and co-illustrated over 85 children’s books). He exhibits his prints and drawings with: St Jude’s and The Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh. He is an Honorary Fellow of the English Association and Bradford College of Art.
