However, knowing the principles and intuitively applying them when out on a shooting can be challenging. If you are relying on your automatic settings on your camera, you may also be frustrated with out-of-focus images, camera blur, or images which are too bright or too dark. After a few hours working with Jackie, you will overcome these challenges. By taking part in hands in fun activities you will learn simple techniques that will help you create images that you are proud to share with your friends and family. Further Information In this fun and friendly workshop, you will spend the morning discovering opportunities for intuitive composition and take part in a practical shoot along the river to put theory into practice. In the afternoon you will work with a live subject to practice capturing a moving subject getting a greater understanding of which shutter speed to use for different subjects and mastering a variety of techniques to freeze a moment in time, create motion blur and capture movement creatively. At the end of the session, you will review each other’s work and be invited to share your photographs with the Mill Tye Shoot and Share Photography group, where you will continue to meet like-minded people and receive further encouragement, inspiration and support with your photography.
