About the event
We’re proud to be joining forces with the Festival of Suffolk with a series of exhibitions and events this year. The Festival encourages communities across our wonderful county to get together to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and what better place to get us all together than at the Mill Tye Gallery celebrating the beauty of the Suffolk countryside and the river Stour. Join Terry Flower and the Mill Tye Gallery team for the exhibition Preview day on Saturday 4th June 2022 from 12 to 7pm. Plus, get creative and book one of our workshops with Terry.
Terry Flower is an artist and educator living on the Essex Suffolk border. He trained at Goldsmiths College London, BA Hons. Fine Art. The University of Brighton, MA illustration and The University of Essex, MA Creative writing.
His philosophy is:
'No place is mundane, each has some magic to offer and rewards those with time enough to pause and engage. Very often it’s as simple as taking time to notice the overlooked or disregarded elements in nature. It’s out there, in the most ordinary of places, happening every day. My work celebrates the visual, textual, sensual and visceral aspects of the landscape. It encapsulates my belief that: just to notice is an act of love.'

The exhibition previews on Saturday 4th June 2022 from 12 to 7pm.
It continues until Sunday 31st July 2022.
