Set within a beautifully restored historic mill beside the River Stour, Mill Tye Gallery is a welcoming space where contemporary art, craft and creativity come together.
Natural light, exposed brickwork and sweeping views across the Suffolk water meadows create a unique setting in which to discover original paintings, printmaking, ceramics, textiles, sculpture and contemporary craft.
Our programme changes throughout the year, with a rolling calendar of exhibitions celebrating both established and emerging artists from across East Anglia and beyond. Alongside exhibitions, the gallery hosts artist residencies, creative workshops, talks and community projects, making every visit a little different.
More than simply a gallery, Mill Tye is a place to slow down, explore new ideas and meet the artists behind the work. Visitors are welcome to browse our exhibitions, discover handmade pieces in the gallery shop, or join one of our many creative workshops in our purpose-built studio overlooking the mill pond.
