Born on the Clyde Coast of Scotland, Colin Moore studied architecture in Glasgow, and following an international career in architecture and design, has worked mainly

as a painter and printmaker since 2004. 

 

As a well-travelled artist, taking in Spain, South America and London, Colin now lives

in Dorset and concentrates

on creating a range of

sketches, paintings and

prints predominantly

focusing on coastal, town

and landscape vistas.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Colin Moore, one of Mill Tye Gallery’s most beloved printmakers. Colin’s sudden departure at the end of last year came as a shock to all who knew and admired him, and our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones.

Colin Moore will be greatly missed by all of us at Mill Tye Gallery and by the many who admired his extraordinary talent.
