About the event
A film installation of Orford Ness by Imogen Candler, tripod shot film in black and white. The films are subtle only showing a glimpse of Orford Ness, holding back some of its mystery. Tickets will be for sale at £2.50 per person on the door.
Orford Ness was a site that the public had no access to while the military were testing on this small cuspate of questions. Orford Ness was so secret even the workers weren't allowed to speak to one another about their roles; even to this day you have to get permission to enter Orford Ness. Nature has immersed itself within the left behind buildings and testing labs, the contrast between using this site for testing atomic weapons, compared to the National Trust protecting it, is just fascinating.
Black and White prints will also be available to purchase.
