Stitchers Inc. presents ‘Iconic'

Stitchers Inc is excited to present ‘Iconic', a collection of Art Textiles at the Mill Tye Gallery, Sudbury. Our group of 9 artists based across North Essex and South Suffolk, have each drawn inspiration from a style or artist that are themselves icons of design. These range from millenia-old metalwork, through folk- and indigenous art to more modern icons of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Each artist has brought a fresh recognition to their chosen inspiration by interpreting key elements and motifs into stitch whilst allowing their own artistry to complement the original. The result is a cohesive and exiting exhibition of work two years in the making.

Stitchers inc. are delighted to invite you to the Mill Tye Gallery to enjoy their exhibition - some of the artists will be in attendance throughout the exhibition to discuss their work and the items available for sale.
