Sudbury Artists' Open Studios Art Trail
13–14 June 2026 | 10.30am – 5.00pm
Suffolk painter Maggie Hambling once said, "In Sudbury, you are never more than six feet from an artist." While that may be a slight exaggeration, Sudbury is home to a thriving creative community, with artists, makers and studios woven throughout the town and surrounding area.
Over the weekend of 13–14 June, visitors are invited to follow the Sudbury Artists' Open Studios Art Trail and step inside the places where creativity happens. From painters and printmakers to ceramicists, sculptors and mixed-media artists, the trail offers a unique opportunity to meet local artists, explore their studios, learn about their creative processes and discover a diverse range of original artwork.
Many of the studios are within easy walking distance of the town centre, making the trail an inspiring way to spend a day exploring Sudbury's rich artistic landscape.
