Thirza Kotzen at the Mill
We are excited to present London based artist Thirza Kotzen at the Mill Tye Gallery.
Nature inspires feelings of mysticism and awe in Thirza Kotzen. Her incredible Collographs and Paintings are inspired by the minutiae and enormity of nature. Colour and light feature strongly in her intricately worked pieces of tree canopies. She sees the loveliness in the detail, in ‘the space between’ and explores tensions between contradictory elements in her work, the light and the dark, the off key and the harmony. These components are often produced intuitively with unconscious impulses guiding her hand.
The exhibition previews on Saturday 6th April 2024 from 10:30 to 6pm.
The exhibition continues until Sunday 12th May 2024.
