Twelve Artists creating original prints
12PM was formed in 1984 at the Minories from a group of professional artists working in with print making processes. The name of the group derives from there being twelve founding members. It was a direct response to the need to provide mutual support and enable a group of like-minded artists who all had a particular interest in and focus upon a range of printmaking techniques, allowing them to meet regularly and exchange ideas and discuss each other’s work. They offered emotional and technical support and a space to try out new ideas. This ethos has remained unchanged over the last 40 years.
The current group of 12 Print Makers: Alan Woods, Anthony Searle, David Stone, Evelyn Polk, Helen Maxfield, Jacqui Robins, Jane Hunter, Julia Vezza, Kit Leese, Marta Dyer-Smith, Sally Freer and Terry Kubecki work in a variety of printmaking processes making original collagraphs, dry points, etchings, wood cuts, lino cuts, lithography, mezzotints, monoprints and screen printings.
