Peter Partner
Painter & Sculptor | East Anglia
Peter Partner is a contemporary East Anglian artist whose work celebrates the landscapes, waterways, and coastlines of the region. Deeply inspired by the natural world, Peter captures the shifting light, subtle atmospheres, and human presence that shape these environments, transforming them into evocative paintings and finely crafted sculptures that invite reflection and connection.
With a background spanning fine art, design, illustration, and sculpture, Peter’s creative career has been both rich and diverse. Trained at Colchester Institute and Leicester School of Art, his experience includes sculpting architectural enrichments and working within the film industry on projects such as Cinderella (2014).
Peter’s return to painting and sculpture marks a renewed engagement with the landscapes of his childhood — scenes infused with memory, movement, and a deep sense of place. His work continues to evolve, exploring the dialogue between natural form and artistic interpretation.
Following his successful solo exhibition at Mill Tye Gallery earlier this year, Peter’s sculptures remain a highlight of our ground floor gallery, and a selection of his works will return as part of our seasonal mixed exhibitions.
