Rowan Collinson
Rowan Collinson is a photographic artist and printmaker based in East Anglia. Her practice explores the relationship between people and place, with a particular focus on rural landscapes and the subtle traces of human interaction within the natural environment. Through slow, attentive observation, she creates thoughtful visual work that reflects changing ecosystems and a deep connection to the land.
Sustainability underpins Rowan’s approach, with the use of alternative processes and naturally sourced materials forming an integral part of her work. A graduate of Norwich University of the Arts (BA Photography, First Class, 2024), she has exhibited widely across the UK and was a finalist in the Association of Photographers Student Awards. Rowan works as a Print Workshop Technician at Gainsborough’s House and was part of Pulling Prints, a collaborative project with the gallery. Her first solo exhibition, A Field Study, opens at Mill Tye Gallery in June 2026.
