Graham Cooper Preview

Graham Cooper Exhibition got off to a great start. Have a look at this video showing just a few people who visited the Gallery through the day. The exhibition continues until 2nd December.

Throughout November, Mill Tye Gallery is hosting an exhibition of Graham Cooper's mixed media images, photographs and manipulated photographs. The exhibition includes artwork that has been created from many different influences; from images prompted by contemporary issues or events, aspects of the human condition or what simply catches the eye.

The results of Graham's captivating work often take the form of a series or theme, all of which hopes to provoke questions, make connections, explore feelings, or challenge perceptions. The work is a bridge between Graham's intention versus the viewer's interpretation.

Confirms Peter Rumsey, Mill Tye Gallery's director: "We are delighted to welcome Graham Cooper to our gallery and to launch an exhibition of his work. It's always great to support local artists and his variety of mixed media images offers a truly fascinating exhibition that visitors will really enjoy."

After retiring from full time teaching, Graham has devoted more time towards establishing a body of work, while developing particular skills and processes. Recent exhibitions have included shows at The Rhodes Centre in Bishops Stortford, Gallery in the Garden and selections for Braintree Hospital, The Essex Open, Braintree Art Trail and Open and the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Located at Cornard Mill in Great Cornard, Mill Tye Gallery is open at weekends from 11am-4pm and Fridays from 2.30pm until 6pm.
