Truthbrush – the Beautiful Bamboo Toothbrush

Over this Lockdown we have been making new connections with creative people across the UK. In the coming months, and when the gallery is able to open, you will see more from this growing network of like-minded craftsmen and makers spanning furniture, textiles, ceramics, gifts and of course Printmaking!

We love these beautiful award-winning bamboo toothbrushes; they were voted best Dental Product in the Eco Excellence Awards and also won the Health and Wellbeing category in the Veggie Awards!

Based in Devon, Truthbrush was set up by 2 working mums and friends about 4 years ago and came from a desire to produce a brush that was beautiful and luxurious, as well as sustainable. The idea came following a stay at an eco-hotel where the only toothbrush available was a cheap plastic

disposable brush, which was

completely incongruous with their ethos. Over a billion toothbrushes are thrown away worldwide every year and this triggered the realisation that there was space in the market for a beautiful but sustainable toothbrush.

Designed with a smooth ergonomic handle and plant-based bristles, each brush comes in fully recyclable packaging and all shipping is carbon-offset. Truthbrush is cruelty free and vegan.

Using a bamboo toothbrush with a biodegradable handle is a small change but together we can make a big difference.
