Sophie Cook's Squat Pods are sculptural pieces with a wonderfully tactile, rounded form. Hand thrown and carved in porcelain, each vessel is individually made and has its own subtle variations of shape and surface.
This Squat Pod is finished in a vibrant shiny turquoise glaze. Sophie makes her glazes in small batches, so the colour can vary slightly from one piece to another, adding to the individuality of each vessel.
Designed to work beautifully on its own, the Squat Pod can also be displayed as part of a larger arrangement with Sophie's Bullet Bottles and Teardrops. Grouped together, the different forms and colours create a striking three-dimensional still life.
Made by hand in Suffolk, this is a unique decorative object to enjoy as part of a collection or simply as a statement piece in its own right.
