Marta Dyer-Smith takes you through the wonderful world of collagraphy with some intaglio printing, intaglio mixed with relief, viscosity technique and many others.
Marta Dyer-Smith is an artist specialising in mixed media printmaking combining different techniques to achieve interesting results. She loves playing with different media and materials and sharing it to her YouTube audience.
She is constantly searching for new and innovative techniques in printmaking and often combine painting with printmaking.
Abstract landscapes are her main subject, but most of all she enjoys being 'playful in making art' as it leads to the most exciting results which can be seen in her videos.
Marta is exhibiting with her fellow 12PM artists @12pmtwelveprintmakers (1st to 30th of June) at the Mill Tye Gallery. She will be bringing her press to do some free printing demonstrations over the Sudbury Art Trail 'Open Studios' weekend of 15th - 16th of June, come along and find out exciting possibilities experimental printmaking can offer!
