These pictures in this collection are interpretations of the experience of looking at seas and skies off the Suffolk coast over an extended period of time. The title 'The Sea and the Sky Never Meet’ reflects Myles' view that horizons are illusory and can never be reached. However far one travels, they never touch.
Consequently, Noel has chosen to keep separate the sea and the sky within these compositions. They relate but are independent of each other. The search for harmonious relationships has brought them together. They have been created in Myles' studio on the edge of Sudbury during the summer and autumn of 2018 and spring of 2019.
