Bubble Vase
Designed and made by Marie Coomber
Playful in form and quietly sculptural, this Green Bubble Vase by Suffolk-based ceramicist Marie Coomber is hand-thrown in specialist stoneware clay and finished in her signature flowing glaze. The curving double silhouette – reminiscent of mid-century studio pottery – gives it a lively presence, whether displayed with a single stem or enjoyed as an object in its own right.
Each piece is made individually on the wheel, allowing for subtle variations in shape and glaze that make every vase a true one-off. The soft speckled green glaze adds depth and tactility, while the base is polished to Marie’s trademark smooth finish — made to be held as much as admired.
