Onion Vase

Wheel-thrown and finished by hand, this Onion Vase by local ceramicist Marie Coomber is a quietly sculptural piece with warmth and personality. Its rounded, organic form is inspired by the gentle curves of nature, while the glossy, speckled glaze brings depth and softness to the surface.
Each vase is made using specialist stoneware clay, selected for its tactile quality and subtle texture. The narrow opening is perfect for a single stem or for standing alone as an object of form and balance.
Marie’s work is known for its considered simplicity, joyful palette, and beautifully smooth, hand-finished bases — each one a one-off, never quite the same as the next.
