Noel Myles is well known for his pictures of trees. His Suffolk Oaks can be seen in Private Collections as far away as 'from New York to Dubai and Melbourne to Toronto'.
The Mill Tye Gallery, in conjunction with Noel Myles, has produced a series of special limited edition prints, of ten copies of each, that are exclusively available through the gallery to coinside with his exhibition 'Principally Trees'.
Myles' work links photography and printmaking. Hundreds of photographs are taken for each subject over a period of time to provide the raw material for his compositions.
'Oak at Polstead' for example, comprises of photographs taken during four seasons.
A selection is made into a harmonious composition that evokes the broader experience of looking at his subject over time and is what he terms 'a still film'.
